Commodore - Tim Rocklein

The Commodore chairs the Executive Committee and presides at all meetings of the membership and the Board of Directors.  The Commodore directs the affairs of the Club and discharges all the duties required by the bylaws and performs duties delegated by the Board of Directors.

Tim and Nel have been members since 2012, but Manatee County has been Tim’s home since the early 1960’s. They have nearly 45 years of active duty Navy experience between them, and now appreciate the opportunity to settle down, enjoy the camaraderie at BYC, and spend time with family members in the local area. They enjoy their 35’ Mainship, Orion, and look forward to spending more time aboard, cruising.
